ASUU strike suspended
The union suspended the strike following the payment of 20 percent out of 40 percent of the total Earned Academic Allowance (EAA) owed them by the institution which amounted to N162m.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) inNasarawa State University, Keffi, yesterday suspended its indefinite strike which lasted over two months.
World Bank donates $12m to support education
A representative of the bank, Dr Tunde Adekola, presented the cheque at the inauguration of the World Bank-supported Global Partnership for Education project in Dutse.

The World Bank on Thursday presented a cheque of $11,948,000 to Gov. Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa to support education in the state.
Exam body pegs admission cut-off mark at 180

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has pegged the cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, and other tertiary institutions at 180.
338,227 applicants short-listed for screening – Okiro
Okiro added that 44,661 were shortlisted for cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police, 87,736 for cadet Inspector and 205,830 for Police Constables.

Ogun chapter says President Buhari wasted one year on no achievement
